The biggest motivation behind blogging?

August 3rd, 2009   |   Posted in General Stuff.

Sure thing, everyone loves to share a word with friends and others by means of a personal blog, but there’s more to it. Have you been wondering what really motivates the full time bloggers to keep blogging all day all night and still never get tired of blogging?

Well, in reality – the biggest motivation behind any commercial activity is of course money! And, hell yeah what can be better than minting money by means of a simple blog?

Yeah, now you must be saying – “You gotta’ be kidding me”, blogging and making money? Indeed, this question was very obvious about a decade back, but with the advent of so many advertising programs, online marketing and affiliate marketing campaigns, blogging has become a full time commercial activity that can not only help somebody earn his/her livelihood but also help in generating 5 to 6 figure income levels as well.

What’s more, apart from running your personal blogs, you may also become guest writer or contributor is online writing communities such as BrightHub, wherein you get paid well enough to earn your bread and butter just in few hours (probably 2-3hours/day as a part-time activity).

On the other hand, those who already make 5 or 6 digit revenues in other field start blogging to establish their online identity, rather than generating extra revenues.

Many a time, this passion towards writing brings out the best out of many entrepreneurs and helps them in establishing their images as an accomplished knowledgeable blogger.

Lastly, people often resort to blogging as a part time activity just to understand others’ opinions and mingle with other community members and to express their views on the most happening issues in the world.

So, the bottom-line is that blogging can be extremely rewarding, no matter what your motivation might be. However, if making money is what drives you to the blogging arena, you can be rest assured that your hard work will definitely pay off well, but it might take a while before your blog becomes famous. Until then it may be difficult to monetize on it, so you may think about working as a guest writer on online writing/blogging communities like ProBlogger, HubPages, BrightHub and the likes of them!
