How to Find Your Elite Keyword

January 11th, 2009   |   Posted in Freelancing.

This elite keyword use guide will help to find those keywords that matter in freelance writing, especially in freelance writing articles. So, let’s go through how to find and where to find your elite keyword.

There is a free and easy keyword tool you can use to find your elite keyword. It is called, Google Adwords Keyword Tool. You can find it by searching on Google, and it should be one of the first links. This is a great tool to use to find your elite keywords.

Next, type in your topic or niche you are trying to find a keyword for. When you search, a list will come below. This list will show you your word you searched, along with many variations of the keyword you researched.

To find your elite keyword, look at the first bar next to the words. If this bar has no blue, it has very low advertiser competition. If the bar is slightly filled, it has low advertiser competition. These are the two types of keywords you should use, as your search result will most likely come up one of the first links in google when your keyword is searched.

However, there is one more thing you have to check. Your keyword should have over 800 monthly average views and over 800 monthly views for the last month. This will ensure views. If your elite keyword has no views, stay away from it. Those keywords won’t help you as they are never searched.

Now that you have your elite keyword, you are ready to start writing!
