New Year… New Clients… More Work!

Well it’s a new year and now is the time for you to set your new year’s goals or resolutions. My resolution, which is probably the same as yours, is to gain new clients. But how do you gain more clients and more work?

 

Putting out an ad or a press release.

Try putting out an ad in your local newspaper, or perhaps writing a press release about your services. Many newspapers need space filled to complete their latest edition. You will be doing them and yourself a big favor.

 

Feed the search engines.

Learn some ethical search engine optimization techniques. (Remember information is always free, but the quality will vary.) Do some keyword research on your niche. Build some quality backlinks to your website and work to get your site to appear on the top of major search engines such as Google.

 

Join your local chamber of commerce.

Network with the local businesspeople. Let them know you are there and what you can accomplish.

 

Contact your current clients and past clients.

Give them a call or send them an email wishing them a new year and ask if there is anything that you could do for them. This is also a great time to ask for a referral. Remember: it never hurts to ask.

    You can try to find plr sources by typing in plr articles in any search engines…

    Another way is to offer your services for free or highly discounted rate to non-profit groups- preferably organizations where they know you- a local organizational, kids group, etc. Do so in exchange for free link/ad on their site, tax credit or just good will and WOM/
